GAR has set a corporate philosophy of realizing both the resolution of social issues and the growth of the company to contribute to the sustainable development of society through cooperation with various stakeholders including unitholders/investors, tenants, clients and local communities, and is carrying out such efforts.

Most recent initiatives

From fiscal 2023, GAR has also been focusing on the promotion of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), including adaption to climate change since before, and is also making efforts to enhance the training system, promote flexible work styles in accordance with lifestyles and improve the environment to be an attractive work environment that enables employees to demonstrate their expertise, recognize diversity and work with enthusiasm.

Furthermore, upon the promotion of DEI, GAR will also promote initiatives focusing on the human rights and diversity of stakeholders, including employees, after establishing a new human rights policy which will serve as the basis.

Identification of materiality

To realize the corporate philosophy, GAR discusses the issues that it focuses on every year and identifies priority issues related to the SDGs, which are common issues in the international community, based on the involvement with GAR’s businesses and expectations from stakeholders.

GAR aims to become a management company trusted, evaluated and chosen by various stakeholders through the reduction of environmental burden and promotion of DEI for the mitigation of and adaption to climate change as an initiative to tackle the above priority issues as well as proactive disclosure of information regarding such initiative.
